These terms govern your use of Aussie Invest Calc (the "Site"), available at aussieinvestcalc.com.au. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Aussie Invest Calc is operated by an individual sole operator based in Australia. It is not a company, financial institution, or licensed financial services provider. Contact details are provided in section 11.
Nothing on this Site constitutes financial, investment, superannuation, tax or legal advice. A higher calculated gain shown by the calculator does not mean an option is suitable, appropriate, safer, better, or recommended for you. Before making financial, investment or tax decisions you should consider obtaining advice from a licensed financial adviser, registered tax agent, or other appropriately qualified professional.
The calculator uses deliberate simplifications, which are described in the methodology notes on the Site and in the User Manual. These include (among others) applying a single marginal tax rate to all taxable investment income rather than progressive brackets; modelling offset savings as compounding annually rather than daily; excluding franking credits, brokerage, management fees and transaction costs; and applying a simplified model of announced 2027 capital gains tax changes that does not reproduce transitional rules.
Outputs are illustrative estimates only. They are not forecasts, guarantees, or predictions of actual returns. Tax law, interest rates, market returns and product features change, and results will differ from real outcomes. You are responsible for verifying any figure before relying on it.
The core calculator — including the four-way comparison, ranking, illustrative risk view, and Break-even and What-If Analyser — is provided free of charge.
Certain advanced features may be offered as a paid tier. Where a paid tier is offered, the price, inclusions and access period will be clearly displayed before purchase. All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
If you purchase access to paid features, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use those features for the stated access period. Licence keys are issued to you individually and must not be shared, resold, published or distributed.
Access expires automatically at the end of the stated period. Access does not renew automatically — you will not be charged again unless you choose to purchase again. The expiry date applicable to your licence is shown within the Site.
We may suspend or revoke a licence where it has been shared, published, obtained fraudulently, or used in breach of these terms.
Payments, where applicable, are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Your use of the payment provider's service is subject to their own terms and privacy policy.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if a digital product is not of acceptable quality, does not match its description, or does not do what it is supposed to do. Depending on the nature of the problem, this may include a repair, replacement or refund.
In addition to those rights, if you purchase paid access and find it is not what you expected, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will provide a refund of the purchase price. This voluntary refund period is offered in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory rights.
To request a refund or raise a problem, contact us using the details in section 11. Please include the email address used at purchase.
The Site is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and the Site may be unavailable for maintenance, technical reasons, or matters outside our control. Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn over time. Where a feature you have paid for is permanently withdrawn during your access period, contact us and we will provide a pro-rata refund.
You agree not to:
The Site, its content, calculation methodology, articles and User Manual are owned by the operator and protected by copyright. You may use outputs (including exported reports and data files) for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish or redistribute the Site's content or code without permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for any loss, damage or cost arising from your use of, or reliance on, this Site or its outputs — including any investment, financial or tax decision made in connection with it.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability is limited (at our option) to resupplying the paid service or refunding the amount you paid for it.
For support, refund requests, or any question about these terms, please use the feedback form linked from the calculator page, or email sadns2026@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your use applies. The "last updated" date above shows when this page was last changed. Material changes affecting paid access will not be applied retrospectively to a licence already purchased.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
